| The more development of the country's economy, and the more urbanized advancement, the more serious are the environmental pollution and the bad health condition caused by the crowded city. These problems usually will cause the spread of infectious disease, further causing the emergency of public health. As the body of the management of emergency of public health, which belongs to the public crisis management, government absolutely plays the positive leading role, but the government is not all-powerful. Facing more and more frequent emergency of public health, the public support is more important. Community bearing part of social functions and the main social strength and the resources, is just of what government want, can further display its superiority and play an important role in crisis management of emergency of public health. However, the regard of its importance is not enough; and there is still not enough study on its functions in emergency of public health. so this article is mainly on the preliminary study of the roles that community play in the emergency of public health.
