Evaluating the reproductive hormone is essential for diagnosis and treatment of infertility, reproductive-endocine disorders, menstrual dysfunction, amennorrhea, perimenopause and postmenopause in women. Reproductive hormone includes sex hormone, gonadotropic hormone and prolactin(PRL). Sex hormone includes estrogen(E2) and progesterone (P);gonadotropic hormone includes follitropin(FSH) and lutropin(LH).Technologies of testing reproductive hormone are improved following medical advancing, so as to today' s electrochemiluminescence immunoassay(ECLIA). For different methods lead to different precision, the reference range in healthy group is necessary for different testing-methods. There is no reference range for reproductive hormone in Chinese bearing-age women. We always use another race reference value, but in fact there is difference level for sex hormone in different race. A total of healthy female volunteers 5330 with normal menstrual cycle in this study, average menstrual cycle of 25—35d, age 1445 and the exact date of the last menstrual , body mass index 1825kg/m2, intact uterus and at least one ovary, no current use of estrogens or other medications known to affect ovarian function, at least one menstrual period in the 3 months before screening, Serum stored at -20° C untilanalysis, there were no freeze-thaw cycles.E2) P, FSH, LH, PRL, T were measured in electrochemiluminescence technology by Roche Elecsys 2010. Reagent kit also from Roche. The samples were divided into 4 groups according to the age, these were age 1425, age 2635, age3645, in addition menopause group including 368 samples age 46—55 . Another way, according to the different phase in the normal menstrual cycle, these are mense(MEN, 1—2d in the cycle), early follicular phase(EF, 46d in the cycle), late follicular(LF, 11+to the LH peak point day , about 3—4day), luteal phase (LUT, 48d before the next menstrual bleeding). Results LH:MEN(1.210. 7IU/L), EF(1. 3-12. 2IU/L), LF(2. 4-180. 4IU/L), LUTQ.3 14. 7IU/L);FSH: MEN(2. 7 - 11.8IU/L), EF(2. 9 10. 8IU/L), LF(4. 1 — 28. 9IU/L), LUT(1. 3 - 9. 6IU/L);E2:MEN ( 30. 8 - 234. 6pmol/L) , EF(138. 6 — 523. Opmol/L), LF(593. 9 - 2761. lpmol/L), LUT (511. 5 — 1116. 4pmol/L);P: MEN(0. 1 - 1. 9nmol/L), EF(O. 1 -2. lnmol/L), LF(O.2 5. 7nmol/L), LUT(7. 6—92. 5nmol/L);PRL: cross the cycle (5. 2—34. Ong/ml);T: cross the cycle (0. 1—3. 2nmol/L;LH/FSH: Median is 2. 3 , range is 0. 2— 3.2, tested the (2—5)d in the menstrual cycle in 1075 samples. Discussion It is necessary to establish reproductive hormone reference range in bearing-age women for clinical practice, especially for reproductive-endocine disorders or infertility disease, however, it is very hard to be established. Perfect way is choosing healthy volunteer bearing-age women with regular menstrual, testing the blood samples in the different phases during the same cycle. Feasibility to call-up enough volunteers was limited. This study collected large number samples with regular menstrual recording the exact day of the last cycle, although it couldnt reflect different phases in the same cycle individually, it can behave the hormone fluctuation in menatrual cycle as a whole. The result of LH 180.4 IU/L behaves the ovulatory period, FSH levelhigher than 28.9 IU/L may suggest ovary function decreasing. Different fashion life-style maybe the reaaon leading to E2 levels in this study are all higher than the reference range in textbook. Levels of LH, P, T, PRL in this study were almost as the same as forepassed research. Conclusions Establish reference range for reproductive hormone in Chinese child-bearing age women .provide appropriate reference value to clinical diagnosis. The level of E2 is highter than some other reference range may related to the nowaday lifeway.
