Background Luteinizing hormone(LH) is glycoprotein hormone secreted by theanterior pituitary basophils, which Consists of α,β subunits of two peptide chains.where in hormone-specific antigen and specificity somefeatures is decided the β subu nit.LH have a very important roleinfollicular maturation and natural menstrualc ycle.low levels of LH lead to stunted growth of follicle and lower estrogen(E2)level in follicular phase;Missing preovulatory LH surge can cause ovulation d isorders;Low level of LH in luteal phase can affect luteal function, even luteal insufficiency, reduced level of progesterone(P),thereby affect endometrial secreto ry response and embryo implantation.Femaleinfertility.people always focus on the reduced level of LHin the process of down-regulation before superovulation and give added. But in the natural menstrual cycle, we pay more attention to t he impact of high LH menstruation, fertility and pregnancy outcomes, easy to overlook low level of LH for follicle development and luteal ovarian reserve a nd other effects.Study the relationship between LH and the other hormonin the natural menstrual cycle and the relationship betweene low level of LH andr fol licle development and the menstrual cycle, improving our attention to low LH and provide the basis for the treatment of female infertility and gynecological endocrine diseases.Objective1.To assay the relationship between LH and female hormones in the menstrualcycle2.To assay the relationship between LH and menstrual cycle3.To assay the relationship between LH and Follicular development4.To assay the relationship between LH and Luteal functionMethods1.Recruit 20 young women with regular menstrual cycles according to the incl usion criteria.2.Assay the concentration of their serum FSH, LH, E2, P, INH A during theire arly follicular phase, and measure the thickness of their endometrium, also mes ure the size and numbers of their follicles with B-mode ultrasonography at the same day when the blood tests was done.3.Assay the concentration of their serum FSH, LH, E2, P, INH A during theirl ate follicular phase, and measure the thickness of their endometrium, also mes ure the size and numbers of their follicles with B-mode ultrasonography at the same day when the blood tests was done.4.Assay the concentration of their serum FSH, LH, E2, P, INH A during their ovulation phase, and measure the thickness of their endometrium, also mesurethe size and numbers of their follicles with B-mode ultrasonography at the same d ay when the blood tests was done.5.Assay the concentration of their serum FSH, LH, E2, P, INH A during their mid-luteal phase, and measure the thickness of their endometrium, also mesuret he size and numbers of their follicles with B-mode ultrasonography at thesame day when the blood tests was done.6.Analysis the relationships of concentrations of serum FSH, LH, E2, P, INHA,also analysis the relationships of the hormones’ concentrations with the size oft heir largest follicles and their endometrium thickness.7.Analyzing results with software SPSS22.0 test, mean LH was 4.56 ± 1.90 m IU/ml in early follicular phase, according to the mean+standard deviation andth e mean-standard deviation divided into three groups, group A LH <2.66 m IU/ml,group B 2.66≤LH <6.46 m IU/ml, group C LH≥6.46 m IU/ml, respectively, calculate d the meanvof FSH, LH, E2, P, INHA and follicular diameter and in each per iod and draw a line chart; menstrual cycle drawed histogram; Analyzing the rel evance of LHand each test results..Results1.LH basishad a major impact on E2 levels during the entire menstrual cycle,i n eachperiod, the higher basal LH, the higher the level of E2,the difference w as statistically significant(P<0.05).1.LH basishad a major impact on FSH levels during the entire menstrual cycle,in eachperiod, the higher basal LH, the higher the level of E2, the difference of FSH level among the early follicular phase was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Basal LH levels had different effects on the concentration of P at different ti mes. Before around ovulation, the higher the basal LH, the higher P levels;Aroun d ovulation and later, the level of P was not statistically significant in differen tlevels of LH.4.The effect of LH on INHA was different in different periods. In the late folli cular phase which the dominant follicle was selected, the higher basal LH, the higher the level of INHA,the correlation analysis found that LH was negatively correlated with INHA in this period of time,rs=0.728,the difference was statisti cally significant(P<0.05).While other periods, different levels of LH did not hav e a significant impact on the level of INHA.5.Basal LH levels had different effects on the follicle size at different times.Int he late follicular phase which the dominant follicle was selected, the higher bas al LH, the greater the follicular diameter;on the contrary,he lower basal LH, th e smaller the follicular diameter. While other periods, different levels of LH didnot have a significant impact on the level of follicle size.6.Throughout the menstrual cycle, the higher basal LH level, the thinner endo metrium, and the difference of endometriumthickness among the early follicularp hase was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.The higher basal LH level, the longer the follicular phase and menstrual cycl e,and the difference of menstrual cycle among the early follicular phase was st atistically significant(P<0.05),the length of the luteal phase had no significant c hange.Correlation analysis showed that the length of the LH and follicular pha se of the menstrual cycle was significantly correlated, correlation coefficients we re-0.536,-0.524,which had statistically significance(P<0.05).Conclusions1.In the ovulation cycle, different levels of foundation LH had different effects on the female ovarian hormones(E2, FSH, P, INHA) in different stages of the menstrual cycle, the lower LH concentration, the lower other hormone, otherwise higher;2.In the ovulation cycle, the impact of foundation LH on follicular developmen t:the lower foundation LH the the smaller follicular diameter, otherwise greater;3.The impact of foundation LH on endometrium:the higher of higher concentrat ions of LH,the thinner of endometrium.4.The impact of foundation LH on menstrual cycle:the lower LH,the longer foll icular phase of the menstrual cycle, there were almost no effect on the length of luteal phase.
