Finding out the rule and trait of differencing and treating the disease is my purpose, so to guide the clinical treatment.I have summarized systematically the ancient thought about this disease: including the progress process of this disease's name, the cause, the mechanism, the rule of treatment. Besides, I have collected the essays between 1996-2005 from CNKI in the key word"Irritable rhinitis",and collected 177 essays in the total. I have researched the rule of differencing disease, choosing medicine, the arrange in pairs and groups.By research, I know that most people deem that the reason is weakness of lung and suffer cold in the early times. The way of treatment is replenish qi of lung, relive superficial pathogenic factors to dissipate cold, the most important medicine is: huang qi , fang feng, bai zhu, xin yi, xi xin, bai zhi, gan cao and so on.The weakness of spleen is another important reason, the way of treatment is replenish qi of spleen and lung, relive superficial pathogenic factors to dissipate cold, the treatment is on the ground of the type of syndrome that the weakness of lung and suffer from cold, add replenishing spleen medicines. The most important medicine is huang qi, bai zhu, fang feng, gan cao, xi xin, xin yi, cang er zi , ren shen, bai zhi, fu ling and so on. Bai zhu is the necessary medicine for those resulted as the weakness of spleen.The ancient expert in TCM do not thing so, they thought that the weakness of the spleen is not the reason for this disease, at the early times, it is the weakness of lung, go with suffering from cold, at the last, it is the weakness of the kidney-yang.
