| Objective:This paper is based on Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine,though the documentation and artificial retrieval,statistical analyze the ancient Chinese literatures on the acupuncture treatment of allergic rhinitis,investigate and summarized,different understanding of allergic rhinitis in ancient Chinese dynasties,and find out regularity of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of allergic rhinitis,to explore the ancient Chinese physicians understanding of allergic rhinitis,the concept,pathology and pathogenesis.To discuss the clinical significance for the allergic rhinitis related provisions in the ancient Chinese literatures,provide theoretical basis and clinical guidance for the modern treatment of allergic rhinitis.Method:This topic mainly screens relevant provisions for allergic rhinitis in ancient literature of various periods by using traditional literature meteorological method,literature research method and the method of computer retrieval.And manual retrievals these provisions to proofread and supplement them.Then,applies Microsoft Excel software to input the selected contents one by one,establishes database,and conducts classification and statistical analysis.Sum up the cognition,pathology and pathogenesis,acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of the ancient on allergic rhinitis.Discuss the theory of allergic rhinitis in the literature of each period,the characteristics of acupoint selection in acupuncture and the relationship of inheritance and development in modern times emphatically.Results:1.This topic has retrieved 56 previous dynasties books related to the acupuncture and massage treatment of allergic rhinitis,and got 609 qualified provisions related to the acupuncture and massage treatment of allergic rhinitis after screening.2.The medical ancient book about the acupuncture in the treatment of allergic rhinitis appeared in Western Jin Dynasty period for the first time(Huang-fu mi's A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion).And maximum provisions related to the acupuncture and massage treatment of allergic rhinitis appeared in the medical ancient book of the period of Ming and Qing Dynasty.3.The provisions related to the acupuncture and massage treatment of allergic rhinitis in the medical ancient book are mainly single acupoint prescription.Since the Ming and Qing dynasties,more and more researches have been made on the prescription of acupoint and multi-acupoint by the medical scientists.4.Among the 609 acupuncture prescriptions,the commonly used acupoints are:shang hsing,Fengmen,Kunlun,Feiyang,Heliao,Suliao,Chengling,ying hsiang,Tongtian and Qucha,among these acupoints,Heliao appears most frequently,it has appeared 43 times,accounting for 7.14%.5.A total of 60 acupoints are used in the acupuncture and massage treatment of allergic rhinitis,and the total frequency is 909 times and the most used acupoints are in the bladder meridian,it has 20 acupoints,accounting for 33.3%.The acupuncture treatment of allergic rhinitis is mainly used on acupoints,luo-connecting points,yuan-source points,and eight influential points.The acupuncture treatment of allergic rhinitis prescriptions is applied mostly in the acupoints of the head and face,it is a total of 30 acupoints,accounting for 50%.The acupoints of the head and face means take acupoints from the place near the nose and carry out the acupuncture treatment of allergic rhinitis.Conclusion:Although allergic rhinitis is not the name of a nasal disease in ancient Chinese medicine,people has aware of the existence of it.They have put forward relevant theoretical basis according to the clinical symptoms of clear nose,nasal obstruction,sneezing and recurrence,and recorded the relevant acupuncture and massage treatment,the thinking of taking acupoints(which has got considerable prevention and improvement effect).This topic summarizes predecessors'understanding of allergic rhinitis and treating experience to provide reference for the modern clinical diagnosis and treatment of allergic rhinitis. |
