| Objective: Xiao ning liquid extract is based on long-term used and has good effect on Asthma, which is an experience compound prescription. It has the action of relieving a cough and easing the breath heavily. To assess and explore its therapy effect and potential mechanism of Asthma, by observing the curative effect of Asthma in SD rats. Methods: Asthma rats were produced by OVA. After two-week pre-immunization, OVA had been injected in rat's abdomen. Except the normal group, the animal were divided into six groups randomly, including the modeled group, the high-dose, the middle-dose, the low-dose, the aminophylline group, the xiao qing long group . They were measured the EOS, NO, ET-1. To obverse the Xiao ning liquid extract alleviate the bronchia convulsion through the out of body experiment.Results:(1)Xiao ning liquid extract can reduce the lebel of EOS and ET-1 of Asthma rats. There are differences among the groups (p<0.05). Especially, the high-dose group showed significantly. (2)Xiao ning liquid extract could adjust the level of NO consistency of Asthma rats. (3)Xiao ning liquid extract could alleviate the bronchia convulsion. (4)Xiao ning liquid extract has the action of antivirus.
