Experimental Research. Qubi Network Cream Treatment Rat Adjuvant Arthritis

Aim: To observe experimental effect of Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster in animal experiment and explore the mechanism of Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster on ankylosing spondylitis.Methods: 40 SD male rats were divided into four groups randomly that were blank control group, model control group, Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster and Votalin Emulgel treatment group. 10 rats were in each group. After Complete Freund's adjuvant made the model of Adjuvant induced arthritis in rats, rats in Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster and Votalin Emulgel treatment group were given testing factors. Swelling degree of joints was measured every day in four groups. Three weeks later, all rats were killed to and Tumor necrotic factor α, Interleukin-1 β and C reactive protein were detected and degree of joint damage was observed through pathological section.Results': Swelling degree of toes: rats in Votalin Emulgel group and Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster group had better effect. TNF-α , IL-1β , CRP: There was significant difference between Votalin Emulgel group, Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster group, blank control group and model control group. No significant difference was found in Votalin Emulgel group, Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster group and blank control group.Conclusion: Qu Bi Tong Luo plaster may decrease TNF-α, IL—1 β , CRP in blood serum of rats and relieve or cure rats with Adjuvant induced arthritis.
