| Acupuncture in artificial abortion has been used for long time in our country andacupuncture was an important measure to midwifery and abortion. Some pointsforbidden acupuncture in the period of pregnancy are important points forinterruption of pregnancy at the same time .At present acupuncture .Hegu (LI4)and Sanyinjiao (SP6) for promoting labor has made some progress. The electricacupuncture parameter included wave shape ,frequency and strength . Differentparameter result in different effect of disease. Therefore , used electricacupuncture parameter in clinical and used acupuncture for promoting labor arevery important. This experiment based on the former research stress on differentparameter result in different effect of promoting labor. This experiment iscomposed of two parts: Lab experiment: The early experimental research indicated that differentneedling time interval time and different frequency result in different effect ofpromoting labor , so the electric acupuncture parameter can influence theacupuncture effect. Therefore, based on the former research, this experimentaimed at seeking the best electric acupuncture wave on points for promoting laborthrough comparing the influence on uterine contraction and endocrine systemcaused by different wave, in order to provide scientific evidence for choosing thebest electric acupuncture wave. Sixty healthy grown-up female Wistar rats the weight between 180-220g wererandomly divided into five groups: continuous wave group, brust wave group,dense-disperse group , normal control group, pregnant control group. When therats have pregnant 19 days , needling LI4 20min firstly, then needling SP6 5minafterwards, choosing 50Hz. The values of intensity, frequency and potency of uterinecontraction and the contents of serum E2, P, TXB2,6-K-PGF and ratio of E2 and P ,ratio of TXB2 and 6-K-PGF were measured. The results were as follows: 1. In 20min after removing needles, three waves of electric acupuncture could all strengthen intensity, frequency and potency of uterine contraction, significantly higher than before needling. The continuous wave group is keeping rise, from needling to removing needles 20min. 2. The contents of serum 6-K-PGF were all increased in four electric acupuncture groups, while the difference of the contents of serum E2, TXB2, P, the value of E2/ P, T/P were found. 3. The continuous wave group electric acupuncture influenced uterine contraction through accommodating the balance of E2/ P, T/P, reflecting the holistic regulation of acupuncture. It suggested that dynamic balance of E2/ P, T/P was more important to labor than the change of single substance. According to above results, the continuous wave is the best choice when needling Hegu (LI4) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) for promotinglabor which can exert the endocrine mechanism and the nerve regulation mechanism. Clinic experiment: The early experimental research indicated that needling Hegu(LI4) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) can alleviates the pain brought on druggery abortion andshorten the time of venting gastrula. This experiment aimed at seeking the bestelectric acupuncture wave through search the electric acupuncture's assistant effect todruggery abortion comparing the influence of different parameter in order to providescientific evidence for choosing the best electric acupuncture wave for the clinic. 109 druggery abortion sufferers divided into three groups. The first electricacupuncture group were needled both side Hegu (LI4) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) at thesame time, choosing burst wave and 100Hz, in taking orally PGs 30-60min; the second electric acupuncture group were needled LI4 20min firstly, then needledSP6 5min afterwards, choosing continous wave and 50Hz., in taking orally PGs30-60min. The results were as follows:1.
