Liver And Spleen Theoretical Treatment Of Chronic Hepatitis B And Clinical Research

HBV infaction is a world-wide problem which strongly threated the health of mankind and much attention has been paid to the reasearch of effective treatments. Guided by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, we explored the etiology, pathology and principle of treatment by way of literature review and according to experience of clinic practice. We suggest that hepatitis B is basically caused by the pathogenic factors of heat-dampness, the internal cause is deficiency of spleen and stomach, deficiency healthy qi,as well as inducsd by improper diet , over fatigue and emotionaldepression, themain treatment is clearing away damp-heat as well as invigorating spleen and stomach.In allusion to the most familiar symptoms and signs of chronic hepatitis B, we ttreated thirty sick person by decoction of cleaning liver and invigorating spleen. The result is that there is no difference between the decoction of cleaning liver and invigorating spleen and comparison group in anti-virus, improving liver function while decoction of cleaning liver and invigorating spleen has a better effect in improving costalgia and anorexia than comparison group.CONCLUSION: The way of cleaning liver and invigorating spleen is the main way to treat chronic hepatitis B .
