At the same time introduced the progress of traditional Chinesemedicine with pathogenic factor and pathogenesis, clinical differentiation of syndromes, internaland external use of Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage treatment, also analyzed theclinicalcurativeeffect,pointout thepresentproblemandprospecttheoutlookofPEstudy. In the clinical study part of the paper, we apply the diagnose criterion of DSM-Ⅳ,and mustmeet the deficiency of yin with excess of yang syndrome. 59 patients whom accorded with thecriterionweredividedintothree groupsrandomly,one ofthemis treat groupandtheotheris controlgroup. The treat group were given Zhi-bai-di-huang-wan and Prozac(Fluoxetine) take orally, whilethecontrol ⅠgroupjusttakeProzac,control Ⅱgroup just take Zhi-bai-di-huang-wan 。Allgroupswere take 30 days as one course of treatment, and return visit each 10 days during the course oftreatment to record the patient's condition before and after the therapy, when one course oftreatment is finished, follow-up visit the patients3monthstoevaluate thecurativeeffect. Results: the cure rate of treat group is 57.1%, total effective rate is 90.5%; the cure rate ofcontrolⅠgroup is 22.2%, total effective rate is 72.2%, the cure rate of controlⅡgroup is 30.0%,total effective rate is 75.0%.statistics data proved that the cure rate and total effective of treat groupis obviouslyhigherthancontrol group.
