Since the sixties of the 20th century, with the development of technology of the computer, the ambulatory ECG technology has got very great improvement in such aspects as the data gathering, analyzing and managing, and already become an indispensable medical treatment in clinical diagnosis. Automatic analyzing and processing to ECG recordings by computer, not only reduced the doctor's working intensity, but improved the accuracy and efficiency in analysis and diagnosis.The ECG datum form is the foundation of the ambulatory ECG analysis system. It will dramatically improve processing speed and analysing quality by effective organization and management for the large ECG datum. In addition, it is favorable to manage the ECG data with other systems.Through the research work for the characteristic of ECG datum in ambulatory ECG analysis systems, the following aspects are involved for designing and realizing the organization of ECG datum. Based on summarization on the technology of ambulatory ECG analysis, the problems of datum organization in the ECG analysis system are analyzed. The origin of electrocardiogram, as well as the shape and signification of normal ECG is discussed. And, the conclusion is drawn for its datum characteristic by studying for all kinds of ambulatory ECG analysis systems. According to the research of high performance and fluent communication with other analysis systems for the ambulatory ECG analysis system, it puts forward the requirement for the ECG datum organization. A new scheme of ECG datum organization with segmentation is introduced on the basis of requirement of ECG datum organization in the ambulatory ECG analysis system. New module is developed based on current ambulatory ECG analysis system. The original ECG datum and the analyzing result are transferred into the data file constructed according to the details of the introduced scheme of ECG datum. Through the playback and statistical work, all kinds of information in the transferred data file are confirmed.
