Clear Desheng Tablets For Treatment Of Advanced Lung Cancer Quality Of Life Evaluation

Primary bronchogenic carcinoma (lung cancer) is the most popular cancer in the world. It is a high malignant tumor.Its biological character is complex and symptoms disguised.Over 80% patients are belong to medium or late stage when they see a doctor.The effective treatment of modern medicine has not been satisfied to these patients.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has a unique advantage in the treatment of lung cancer,espacialluy of the medium or late stage lung cancer.TCM could improve the patients' qualituy of life,alletive the symptoms.increase the rumor-bearing surival time and enhance the efficacy and reduce tocicity of chemotherapy and radium therapy.For a long time there is no perpect standard to evaluate the treatment of TCM.So build a perpect standard to evaluate the treatment of TCM is imporant.Objective:60 patients with stage III~ IV lung cancer were divided randomly into Group I , II, III. In group I , 30 patients were treated with Qingjindesheng Tablet alone.In group II, 15 patients were treated with chemotherapy and Qingjindesheng Tablet.In group III, 15 patients were treated with chemotherapy,which is VP or NP regimen. Qingjindesheng Tablet and chemotherapy were given in the same way as that in the three groups.The therapeutic efficacy of the three groups were evaluated after 1 month of treatment.Results :The patients of Group I and group II Felt well. The patients' qualituy of life had been improved(p<0.05). The qualituy of life of group III had not been improved(p>0.05).Conclusion: Qingjindesheng Tablet could improve the patients ' qualituy of life,alletive the symptoms and enhance the efficacy and reduce tocicity of chemotherapy.
