The needling method of SiTian points is an efficient one to treat nerve root Cervical spondylosis, which is developed by my teacher-Mr. Liu Gong wang, with his many years'clinical practice. In order to study further the machanism of effective treating on Cervical spondylosis by needling "Si Tian" points, Our research drew on the experience from both home and abroad ,and based on our studying work on the former researching result, we adopted the objective criterion and standard for diagnosis and curative effect when observing the 46 patients who suffer from nerve root cervical spondylosi. They weredevided into two groups: 30 are in experimental group and 16 are in contrasting group respectively. We tested the variation of ET, 6-Keto-PGFla, TXB2, IL-1, MDA and SOD by means of contrasting individual condition before and after the treatment, contrasting different patients'conditions between the groups of needling JiaJi points and of needing Si Tian points. The experiment reveals that after the treatment ,the content of IL-1, ET, TXB2 MDA which are in the blood serum decreas .while the content of 6-keto-PGFiaincreas and SOD became more active. The clinical effective proportion and general effective proportion of "Si Tian" points group are 46.67% and 93.33% respectively, whereas those of "Jia Ji" points group( contrasting group ) are 31.25% and 81.25% respectively. Through the Ridit analysis, there is an obvious disparity between these groups (P<0.05), which shows that the needling method of "Si Tian" points is superior to that of "Jia Ji" points.
