The Sky Red Tongmai Oral Treatment Of The Acute Phase Of Ischemic Stroke

According to the basic theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and clinical experience, we put forward that the tagnation of wind-phlegm and stasis 's one of the principal pathological bases of acute stage of ischemic stroke, therefore the combination of promoting circulation to remove obstruction , calming the endogenous wind and resolving phlegm should be the main treatment in acute stage of ischemic stroke. In our clinical research, 60 patient diagnosed as tagnation of wind-phlegm and stasis syndrome were divided into treated group(21 male, 9 female) and control group(1 9male, 11 female). The two groups patients were given Tianhiong Oral Solution and Naoxuesuan Tablete respectively. The effective rate of the treated group was 86.67%, which was better than control group 73.33%.Comparing with control group, the improvement of mental activity , speech, mobility of joints and limbs is also significant. In experimental research , acute ischemic stroke model was made in rats by the method of intraluminal suture occlusion of the middle cerebral artery (MCA). The results showed that Tianhong Oral Solution can significantly increase the survival rate , improve neurological index, reduce ischemic area ,alleviate brain edema, and decrease serum and brain tissue excitatory amino , oxygen free radical, and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule in stroke rats. In summary, the Tianhong Oral Solution is a new safe and effective preparation for acute ischemic stroke treatment, and is worth being further researched and developed.
