Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) was referred to the spectrum of diseasederiv1ng from the serious ischemia caused by format1on of throIItbogenesisln coronary artery. ACS was the comon cardiovascu1ar emergency inc1ud1ngunstab1e angina pectoris(UA)' acute myocardia1 infarction(AMI) andsudden cardiac death(SCD). Recently, basic and c1inica1 research aboutthls syndrome have progressed great1y. There were a 1ot of new conceptsand methods in diagnose. provention and treatment of ACS. This thesissunuuarized the development with regard to pathogenesis. diagnose andtherapy of ACS brief1y by sununing up the achievements of basic researchand clinica1 research about this field lately.'Unstab1e Angina pectoris(UA) was the important part of ACS. UA hasthe considerab1e proportion in clinica1 patients w1th cardiovascu1ardisease. It was controversia1 to treat UA. Having accumu1ated some.experience by exercis1ng, the author thought it was a good way to treatUA with method of comb1nation of trad1tlona1 chinese medicine and'estern medcine. This artic1e aimed at 1ntroduc1ng the conunon therapy.pharmacotherapy and Chinese medicine therapy to everybody w1th twotypica1 cases.
