OBJECTIVE: To overall search related documents on treatment of anginapectoris of coronary heart disease by combining TCM and western medicine infive databases andsystematically assess its curative effect, adversereactions and other problems.Materials and Approaches: Apply Cochrane network system assessmentto formulate standards for inclusion and exclusion of documents, search CAJfull-text database, Wanfang database, Chongqing VIP’s Chinese ScientificJournal Full-text database, CBM and Web of Science database; applymeta analysis module in Stata120to conduct data analysis of the researchresult, and evaluate document methodology quality by scoring throughimproved Oxford scoringsystem (Jadad Scale).RESULT: With31documents included into research, there are2933patientswith coronary heart disease angina pectoris, in which31documentsreport the total effective rate,19ECG total effective rate and6bloodfat of patients before after treatment. Through Meta analysis on totaleffective rate in these31documents, the result shows that there isdifference in curative effectbetween the experimental group and controlgroup (RR=1.20,95%CI:1.15-1.25,Z=8.67,P<0.05). It also shows that thecurative effect in the experimental group is1.20times of that in thecontrol group, thus the effective rate of clinic treatment could beincreased. Through Meta analysis on ECG total effective rate in19documents,the result shows that there is difference in curative effect between theexperimental group and control group (RR=1.33,95%CI:1.25-1.42,Z=8.97,P<0.05), it shows that the curative effect in the experimental groupis1.33times of cure rate in the control group, thus the effective rate of clinic treatment could be increased.Through Meta analysis on blood fatof patients in6documents before and after treatment, the result showsthat there is difference blood fat curative effect between the experimentalgroup and control group. The improvement of flood fat in the experimentalgroup is better than that in the control group. The assessment on TC andTG features no heterogeneity. By contrast, the effect of TC and TG in theexperimental group is lower than that in the control group. The effect SMD(95%CI) is-0.50(-0.67,-0.33);-0.72(-1.17,-0.26); there isstatistical significance. Compared to control group, there is statisticalsignificance in SMD regarding HDL and LDL in the experimentalgroup. The adverse reaction is not mentioned in31documents.CONCLUSION: In accordance with this research, it could be seen that thetherapeutic effect of combined medication of TCM and western medicine issuperior to the sole orally taking of western medicine from the comparisonof increase in total curative effect of symptom, improvement of ECG andcomparison of blood fat before and after treatment after curing coronaryheart disease angina pectoris through combination of TCM and westernmedicine. However, for the methodology quality of documents included intothe document is universally low, Oxford scoring system (Jadad Scale) couldbe observed to put forward related requirements of scoring standards, enhance methodology quality of clinical test documents, conduct strictrandomized control and blind test during clinicalexperimental research exploration in the future so as to provideevidence-based medicine evidences of high level for clinical treatment.
