| Aneurnatoid Arthritis(RA) is a slow, multiple, general autoinununedisease characterized by synovitis. Because morbid rate and teratogenicrate of RA are rather high, RA has harmed microcosmic health extensivelyand belongs to an intractable disease at present.The cause and etiopathology of ax are still not very clear so far.It isconsidered that the occurrence and sustained development of RA arerelative to autoimmunity process, and RA is closely related with such mmpfactOrs as circumstance, bacteria, virus, heredity, hormone, status of nervousand mind and so on. In recent years, the concept of modern immunology iscontinually being replaced and the treatment of ax is continuaIlydeveloping, but there are not ideal theraPeutic methods and preventivemeasures.RA belongs in the fields of arthralgia syndrome, obstinate edhralgiaand gout in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).It is considered that RAresults from insufficiency of the liver-kidney, deficiency of qi-blood,instability of wei-energy. and frenquent invasion of exogenous pathogenicwind, cold and damp into the body to block the circu1ation of qi and bloodthrough the meridians. TCM and acupuncfore-moxibustion plan treatmentaccording to diagnosis, including the theraPeutic principles of dispellingwind and removing cold, relieving dampness and clearing away heat,promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis and restoring floWinvigorating liver-kidney. A wealth of experience is accumulated andtheraPeutic effect is fairly satisfied. Bee-acupuncture therapy is a specialtype of acupuncture tecboque.The curative effect of Bee-acuPuncturetheraPy on KA is definite, and the therapy is simple and easy to practice.Under the guide of the tutor, Bee-acuPuncture therapy on ax is studiedsystematically and thoroughly. By means of c1inical cure,this studyevaluated the curative effect of Bee-acupuncture theraPy objectiveIy.Through animal experiment, this study investigated the possible mechanismof M treated by Bee-acuPuncture therapy from the angles of morphologyand cytokines.l. CIinicaI Ob8ervationTo evaluate the curative effect of Bee-acuPuncture on RA.The patientswith RA are treated by liver bee sting technique. Ashi points were selectedmostly, cooperated with selecting points along the pathway of charmel andaccording to differentiation of syndrome. The controlled group were treatedby herbs. The treatment course was 3 months. Observation items inGludedclinical symptoms, body-signs and laboratory index. The results showedthat joints pain score, tendemess score, swelling score, morning stiffness,walk time of 20 metres, ESR, CRI, ax IgA,IgG,IgM were obviouslydecreased, two hands grip strength and joint function classification wereimproved significantly after treatment. The total effective rate of clinic andselfevaluatCd were 86.2l% and 89.66% respectively. There weresignificant difference between the two groups(P<0.0l' P<0.05 ). It indicatedthat Bee-acupunctore theraPy have a comprehensive function of anti-inflammatory, analgesia and immunoregUlation. Course of disease and stateof illness were relative to curative effect.Patients with short course and mildstate had better effect. Syndrome type of TCM were not relevant to curativeeffect. During the course oftredrient, the adverse effect were dominated bylocalized itching, hot flush and slight swelling, bat general symptomssuch as dizziness, headache and urticaria were ralely seen.2.
