In this thesis, (Huang di's Four Classics) (abbreviated as (HFC) ) is analyzed and compared with (Huang di's Classic of Internal Medicine) (abbreviated as (HCIM) ) on the same views of such philosophical thoughts as Tao, Yin, Yang, Following the Tao, Three Elements, etc., background of HCIM, transmission and influence of HFC to uncover the cultural origin and philosophical base of HFC, moreover to know the cultural background of formation and development of TCM, and understand essence of TCM further. The analysis method of this thesis is to contrast the originals of the two works and compare the formation background of HCIM and the transmission of HFC. The conclusion is that HCIM was unavoidably impressed by the Huang-Lao thought with the most influence at that time because most chapters of I-ICIM was formed during Zhan-guo and Qing-Han dynasty. HFC is the classic work of Huang-Lao school. It is originated from (Lao Zi , but emphasizes more on effectivity with more progressive thought. Meanwhile, as a total collection of scientific theories with extreme effectivity, HCIM absorbs the views of HFC more directly and comprehensively. Even more, many marks resulting from HFC exist in the HCIM. So the conclusion is that HFC is one of important thought origins of HCIM.
