Spleen And Gastrointestinal Motility Relations And The Influence Of Prescription Treatment

Spleen-stomach, providing the material basis for the acquired constitution, is the center of the function of five viscera and six bowels. It's also the center of the study of ZangFu. We had found many characteristic of Spleen- Xu. Now many scholars suggest we should pay more attention to Spleen- stomach-Shi. So I select the common Shi syndrome in south area in China -- -Damp-heat syndrome of spleen-stomach to study, in order to find some objective laws to help the diagnosis and therapy of Damp-heat syndrome and to find some methods for the research of spleen-stomach Shi syndrome in the same time. We studied many indices of damp-heat syndrome of spleen-stomach in this problem: the frequency of symptom; the time symptom spending to disappear; the sight characteristic through gastrofiberscope. Result: the frequencies of main symptoms and secondary symptoms : yellow and greasy fur: 100%; epigastric distress, distress or pain in the chest85.7%; anorexia76.2%; bitterness and slimy in the mouth47.6%; lassitude7 1.4%; loose bowels or muscus stools54.8%; dry mouth without desire for drinking or tend to hot drinking23.8%. The symptom nausea spent the shortest time, 3 days to disappear. The epigastric distress distress or pain in the chest spent the longest time, 21 days. The three main symptoms spent 15 days to disappear in average. The scenes congestion, erosion, much muscus, muscus opacity through gastrofiberscopy are obvious than compared groups. This part means: yellow and greasy fur is the most important basis for diagnosis; the main symptoms spent more time to disappear than the secondary symptoms; the damp-heat pathogen is often lingering and difficult to cure. We conduct examination of gastrointestinal movement in order to find the 5 syndrome mechanism of damp-heat syndrome of spleen-stomach of CSG. The examination includes: EGG, gastric emptying and esophagus movement examination, checking up HP when do gastrifibrscopy. Result: comparing with spleen-xu group, the damp-heat group has abnormality among the three examinations and has high rate of HP infection. The gastric emptying of part follow-up examination patients came better after treated by Qingzhuo Anzhong Tang for 2-4 weeks. It suggests damp-heat pathogen can cause the gastrointestinal movement disorder. Qingzhuo Anzhong Tang is a good drugs for damp-heat disease. We'll conduct more studies to find if HP infection can cause gastrointestinal disorder.
