Hospital departments are the basic unit of hospitals, they do medical tasks, research tasks, teaching tasks, the management capacity of departments has a direct relationship to the hospital's survival and development.Based on the research of many clinical departments evaluation, this paper use the Ministry of Health's hospital management evaluation guides, reference to the evaluation of key performance indicators for general corporate, combined with the hospital's target assessment rules, establish the principle of selecting evaluation indicators, consult with relevant experts, chose the five-level indicators, 16 secondary indicators, based on the survey, use AHP to determine levels of index weight, establish the comprehensive evaluation index system for hospital department, introduce the discussion of dimensionless method, compare standardized method with normalized dimensionless approach, compared Ranking ideal solution (TOPSIS method) with linear weighted method evaluation results.This topic has selected 16 secondary indicators, including: cured and improved rate index's weight is the biggest, followed by is the average length of hospital stay indicators, and then diagnosis rate of three-day hospitalization. Index system include patient satisfaction and the environment satisfaction, established evaluation index system to meet the current situation of the departments in the Children's Hospital; a variety contrast of dimensionless method, a variety contrast of comprehensive evaluation method, making the evaluation results more objective, scientific.The evaluation index system and methods in the study can be used to compare with different departments, found that the internal management problems of different departments and different aspects of communication and coordination problems between different departments, it can also be carried out on individual department's continuous longitudinal monitoring and early warning, to adjust the hospital management's focus, to provide full and accurate basis for decision-making or hospital plans.
