Objective: It is an inevitable requirement for the hospital survival and sustainable development to implementcomprehensive objective management index system scientifically and rationally, and to improve operational efficiency. With the deepening of public hospital reform, how to adapt to the adjustment of national industrial policies,to explore the way to promote comprehensive objective management index system of the hospital scientifically and normatively, and to improve the hospital management level, which is of great theoretical and practical significance. Methods: This topic takes a comprehensive third-class hospital as the research object,By Delphi method, screening the representative and operable performance indicators in the comprehensive target management index system of the hospital,to explore the promotion effect of improving the relevant indicators on hospital management. The analysis has been made on the optimization of the hospital outpatient procedures, the intensification of hand hygiene management and the monitoring of critical disease,by using the methods of literature research, case study method and scientific statistical analysis, etc.from January 2018.Results: The results showed that the optimization of the hospital outpatient procedures can shorten the non-medical waiting time of patients significantly with the increasing number of outpatient clinics year by year. There was significant difference between the two groups before and after implementation(P < 0.05).Pearson's chi-squared test was used to compare the incidence of nosocomial infection(%)and nosocomial case infection(%)in the two stages before and after improvement. The difference was statistically significant after hand hygiene management intensification.Strengthening the monitoring and management of critically ill species, taking acute myocardial infarction as an example, the average length of stay and the average hospitalization expenses were compared before and after the improvement measures. After one-way ANOVA,two pairs of comparisons were made by SNK test, there was significant difference(P < 0.05)in average length of stay and average hospitalization expenses for the acute myocardial infarction patients. Conclusion: Under the condition that the existing hardware facilities and human resources of hospitals remain unchanged,Strengthen process and link management, such as the optimization of the hospital outpatient procedures, hand hygiene management intensification and strengthening the monitoring and management of critically ill species, could reduce waste of resources and direct or indirect cost reduction. The research validates that the improvement of the index system promotes the management of sample hospital and has a good application effect. The hospital comprehensive objective management index system is of complexity. The performance evaluation in any period is of relative rationality. In the future, continuous improvement needs to meet the hospital management.
