Objective: Shoulder hand syndrome is more common after stroke, belongs to the traditional Chinese medicine-BiZheng. The treatment method contain traditional Chinese medicine, combined Chinese and western medicine, western medicine, etc. TCM acupuncture therapy is omni-directional treatment, belongs to the green therapy, convenient operation and curative effect. But the literature of evidence-based medicine study is less, so uses Meta analysis method of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of this disease, to make the clinical curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy have more objective evaluation for the future, and provide basis for application acupuncture therapy.Results: This study search from 2005 to 2010 published acupuncture therapy literatures of shoulder hand syndrome clinical randomized controlled trials, and provide analysis is used Manager5.0 Review Cochrane . Finally 29 literatures into the Meta analysis, including three groups therapy, accumulative total cases 2302example, the result shows: Electro acupuncture therapy and acupuncture treatment OR [95% CI] 4.62 [1.98,10.78], P < 0.05, and the difference is statistically significant; Acupuncture and acupoint block group therapy odds ratio [95% CI] OR 4.8 [2.02, 11.41], P < 0.05, and the difference is statistically significant; Acupuncture combined with other therapy and acupuncture OR [95% CI] 3.32 [2.30, 4.77], P < 0.05, the difference is statistically significant.Conclusion: The treatment of acupuncture is effective. It suggests Electro acupuncture therapy better than acupuncture therapy, acupuncture better than acupoint block, acupuncture combined with other therapy better than acupuncture. In addition waiting for larger sample, high quality randomized trials to bolster the results in future.
