Purpose:Research Danzhi Xiaoyaosan containing serum on human breast cancer cell line MCF-7 inhibition of proliferation and induction of apoptosis, in order to provide a wider range of clinical experimental and theoretical basis. Method:MTT assay with different concentrations of Danzhi Xiaoyaosan serum on MCF-7 cell proliferation; application of Annexin V/PI double staining flow cytometry Danzhi Xiaoyaosan containing serum on MCF-7 cell apoptosis.Result:1. MTT results showed that Danzhi Xiaoyaosan containing serum on the proliferation of MCF-7 cells was significantly inhibited, and 20% serum containing group reaches the maximum inhibition rate of 74±3.1%, at the same concentration, the inhibition rate with drugs increase the role of time in a time dependent, and the difference compared with the control group were significantly; at the same time, the inhibition rate increased with the increase of drug concentration, with a dose-dependent, and the difference compared with the control group was significantly .2. Annexin V / PI double staining flow cytometry showed that serum containing Gardenia Xiaoyaosan can induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells, for 24 hours in 20% serum containing group, the apoptosis rate reached the maximum 15±2.3%, the apoptosis rate increased with increasing concentration, with a dose-dependent, and the difference compared with the control group significantly.Conclusion:1. Danzhi Xiaoyaosan containing serum on the proliferation of MCF-7 cells was significantly inhibited in a time and dose dependent manner.2. Danzhi Xiaoyaosan containing serum can induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells, in effect 24 hours later, the apoptosis rate increased with increasing drug concentration in a dose dependent manner.
