Medicine Attitude Scale

Objective:1. To establish Attitude scale of traditional Chinese medicine and to test the psychometric quality of scales; 2. To investigate the general attitude of students in Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods:After reviewing previous studies on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine approach to medical students for the test object, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine 08,66 all of a professional pre-test students, the use of open interviews, exploratory factor analysis and the preparation of "Chinese Attitude Scale "to the internal consistency coefficient, half-related correlation coefficient test and retest reliability scale. To 198 college students as subjects, content validity, construct validity and criterion validity of the results of testing their validity. The same groups were tested to compare different gender, profession, whether classes in the Chinese attitude to reform the differences in each factor.Results: The TCM attitude scale composed of 18 items, divided into the cognitive dimension of Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine emotional dimensions, dimensions 3 Chinese behavior tendency factor. Reliability test showed that: each subscale internal consistency coefficients 0.78 0.85, split-half reliability between the 0.67-0.84,0.62-0.85 retest reliability was between the level of correlation is significant. Validity Display: Exploratory factor analysis, three factors, three factors explain the cumulative rate of 53.58%; confirmatory factor analysis showed that the statistic is RMAEA=0.067, CFI=0.903, NNFI=0.995. Conclusion: The TCM attitude scale has good psychometric properties, can be used as Chinese medicine student attitude survey tool.
