ObjectiveExplore the light, medium primary depression patients'main clinical characteristics, the related factors, distribution low in TCM syndrome factors and the correlation relationship between clinical characteristics and distribution low in TCM syndrome factor. Analysis the correlation relationship between clinical characteristics and distribution low in TCM syndrome factor, to provide a basis in order to unified syndrome differentiations, explore the depressive disorders syndromes distribution in future.MethodThese cases patients with light, medium primary depression come from outpatients and patients in dongzhimen hospital and the surrounding community compliance between May 2010 and February 2011. Use basic information scale to collect the name, age, gender, nationality, marriage conditions, cultural degree, ill former character, hobbies of patients with the light, medium primary depression. Use Hamilton Rating Scales of Depression (HAMD) to assess the severity of depressive state. Use Hamilton Anxiety Scales (HAMD) to assess the severity of anxiety state. Use the TCM Syndrome Factor Objective Scales to collect Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis information. According to the specific circumstances of data collected to establish the relevant database, use the statistical analysis software SPSS18.0 to statistical analysis of variance, t test, rank sum test and chi-square test.ResultsThe clinical study included 80 cases of sub-stanard in patients with light, medium primary depression. In these cases, the frequency of TCM syndrome factors from high to low is as follows:stagnation of liver-qi, kidney empty stomach, insufficiency of the spleen, qi depression, sputum resistance, blood stasis, the fiery, deficiency of Yin, guilty, deficiency of Yang, hot and humid, hemopenia, deficiency, damage of essence, cholic asthenia, compaction, lung virtual. Stagnation of liver-qi(63.8%), qidepression (36.3%), sputum resistance (32.5%) are the most common in excess syndrome; Kidney deficiency syndrome (42.5%), insufficiency of the spleen (41.3%) are the most common in deficient syndrome.24 items HAMD scale can be divided into:anxiety factor, body quality factor, cognitive factors, circadian variation, block factor, sleep factor and despair factor. Through analysis the correlation of these seven factors and the Trandiction Chinese Medicine 17 syndrome factors, we can find the qi depression (P=0.008), blood stasis (P=0.034), kidney empty stomach (P=0.034) and anxiety factor have significant correlation. Insufficiency of the spleen (P=0.000), stagnation of liver-qi (P=0.026), hemopenia (P=0.021), damage of essence (P=0.035) and body quality factor have significant correlation. Stagnation of liver-qi (P=0.000), the fiery (P=0.000), hot and humid (P=0.040) and deficiency of Yang (P=0.001), kidney empty stomach (P=0.005), lung virtual (P=0.031) and cognitive factor have significant correlation. Stagnation of liver-qi (P=0.028), phlegm sistance(P=0.018), insufficiency of the spleen (P=0.045) and Block factor have significant correlation. Stagnation of liver-qi (P=0.028) and Sleep factor have significant correlation. Blood stasis(P=0.000) and despair factor have significant correlation.Conclusion1. In common clinic TCM syndrome factors of the light, medium primary depression, Stagnation of liver-qi, qidepression, sputum resistance are the most common factors in the excess syndrome; Kidney deficiency syndrome, insufficiency of the spleen are the most common factors in deficient syndrome.2. There is significant correlation between clinical features of light, medium primary depression and distribution law in TCM syndrome factors. They are:qi depression, blood stasis, kidney empty stomach and anxiety factor. Insufficiency of the spleen, stagnation of liver-qi, hemopenia, damage of essence and body quality factor. Stagnation of liver-qi, the fiery, hot and humid, deficiency of Yang, kidney empty stomach, lung virtual and cognitive factor. Stagnation of liver-qi, phlegm resistance, insufficiency of the spleen and Block factor. Stagnation of liver-qi and Sleep factor. Blood stasis and despair factor.
