The Leadership Of The Head Of The Hospital And Hospital Management Performance Associated With The Degree Of Research

Medical and health services assume the responsibility of securing the health of people and socialist modernization. After opening up,hospitals had to get rid of the influence of planned economy and face the market economy. Market economy is not only bringing more opportunities, but also the pressure of survival and development, and brutal competition. It's the time that hospital management level and comprehensive ability have to be improved. Hospital presidents lead hospitals to renaissence, and leadership of president plays an essential and critical part in the process. However, research on hospital president leadership is still in primary stage. No scientific structure model of hospital president model has been proved, neither the influence of hospital president leadership on hospital management performance. The purpose of this research is to study and find solutions for the questions mention above. I. To explore structure model of hospital president leadership; II. To discover and analyze connections between hospital president leadership and hospital management performance.Based on a comprehensive understanding of leadership theories at home and abroad, this study carried out practical cases analysis and indivual interviews on 28 hospital presidents. Afterwards, designed questionaire on the basis of findings obained to collect relevant datas on which factor analysis, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. On the basis of the above procedure, the conclusion of this research was gained.The conclusion of this research could be summerized as two points: I. Hospital president leadership is constructed in 5 aspects; II. There is positive correlation between hospital president leadership and hospital performance.
