Study Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry In Yunnan And Corporate Growth

Yunnan is rich in traditional Chinese medicine resources, and has a clear comparative advantage in resources and characteristics of industrial construction conditions. In the recent years, Yunnan traditional Chinese medicine industry has achieved rapid development under the support of Yunnan government's relevant policies, and it has became one of the special industries and pillar industries. But, there are many problems during the rapid development, for example, enterprise size is small and lack of famous enterprise; R&D investment is too low and the repeat manufacturing is serious; less well-known brands, and so on. These problems have seriously hindered the further development of Chinese medicine industry in Yunnan.In this paper, the firm growth is the theoretical basis and the entry points. By the following part of the research, this paper tries to find the suitable growth strategy for Yunnan enterprises to achieve the objective of promoting the development of the industry.This paper combines the relevant theoretical knowledge of enterprises growth and industrial development ,and apply to the TCM industry to find the problems of the industry in its development and growth. The study implications includes: first, to study how to promote the development of the industry in virtue of micro strategic theory of enterprise growth; second, to compare and evaluate the competitive of Yunnan and other regions of the TCM industry by using the important data and indicators; thirds, to apply the theory of enterprise growth and industrial development to the Yunnan TCM industry, and find the problems. Then, study the development of Yunnan TCM industry and put forward the countermeasures under the visual of choice of the enterprises growth strategy.This paper studies the development of Yunnan TCM industry from the point of the enterprises growth strategy, and uses the following research methods: the first is the document analysis. Find the related theory of the enterprises growth and industrial development; the second is the case study. The paper needs to analysis the typical case to find out the suitable growth strategy while analyzing the Yunnan TCM enterprises growth strategy; the third is the compare study. Compare and evaluate the competitive of Yunnan and other regions of the TCM industry by collecting and accounting the important data and indicators. Find out the problems of the enterprises and the industry. Then, find the countersues of industry development by the analysis of these problems.
