Study Of Rural Tourism, Community Participation And Mechanisms

Rural tourism plays a very important role in future sustainable tourism development. The goal of rural tourism is coordinate environmental, economical social factors of target tourism areas. To achieve this goal effectively, local community participatory tourism model which is ideal way to realize rural tourism objective is required. The study of local community participatory tourism brings great benefit for sustainable development of rural tourism, population quality enhancement of rural community, solving job problems, solving three dimensional issues of rural community. Generally, community participatory tourism development is still initial stage. There are many problems that include confused models, imperfect system and so on. Therefore, in the research of community participatory in rural tourism is imperative.This paper stands on a number of research papers and practice research, and conducts a systematic research on the methods of how to involve rural community in tourism. On this basis, this paper sums up eight kinds of model, three kinds of participation mechanisms of community participation in rural tourism of the, as well as the various factors to constraint community participation and builds my own theoretical framework.This paper is based on newly tourism development theory, theory of rural tourism, sustainable development theory and welfare economics theory, the paper selects community participation in the rural tourism of the unity town as a an empirical study. It comes that community participation in unite town is currently active stage, but there is still some distance away from the mature stage, it points out that constraints unity town community participation factors including culture, economic, geographical location, incentives, mechanism and so on. Based on this analysis, chooses its own model of community participation at the different stages of tourism development. Finally, according to the results of research and data analysis the fully participation, and empowerment, people-oriented and participatory through to the end for community as the guiding principles are established. Four aspects of community involvement in rural tourism are proposed to frame the participatory mechanism scheme,including government-driven mechanism, incentive mechanism, personnel training system, participatory evaluation mechanisms, a sound legal system and, monitoring mechanism and community participation to protect mechanism. The more complete model of community participation in rural tourism and the operation mechanism system are formed. It achieves social, economic, environmental harmony and sustainable development of the destination rural tourism communities in unity town. And I hope that community involvement model and operational mechanism can plays a certain role in the process of community participation in other rural tourism.
