With telecom industry restructuring in 2008 and 3G license released in 2009, it shows the industry transformation in ongoing. There are three trends for telecom operators: network, service and business transformation. It is both opportunity and threat for telecom equipment providers. In the fierce competition environment, telecom providers must not only keep on own strategy but also competitors' to adjust strategy dynamically for invincible position.ASB is a company which can provide total telecom solution and it longs for innovation, competitor, marketing leadership and high-tech. It is one of most important participants in China telecom industry. In the background of telecom transformation, it faces rigorous challenges. It must rescan its strategy to guarantee "live better" and "live longer". It is needed to answer four questions of strategy: "Why", "What", "How" and "Who".With the analysis of PESTEL, Six force and SWOT models, it shows that ASB's strength, weakness, opportunity and challenges facing. Based on these, it points out the ASB's developing strategy, business transformation, competitive strategy, alliance strategy and strategies implementation. Together with strategy theory and ASB practice, it may do help for ASB further development.
