The salary management is one of the important parts of the modern human resources management, which has wide applications, complicated management processes and difficulty in the work of HR management. As the salary system is a critical support for the realization and development of the corporate strategic objective, to design such a reasonable and effective salary system not only benefits the implementation of the personal salary management, but also helps to enhance the performance of the employee, smooth realization of the strategic objective and vision of the organization development. It is also a result and forceful trial for exploring the brand-new HR management concept to introduce the Broad Band Salary concept into the national non-profit organizations, especially for the Broad Band Salary system design of a certain Institute for Aerospace Research which has made the outstanding contributions for our national defense modern construction and the Manned Spaceflight Project.The thesis firstly introduces the background of the research,research significance, study structure ,research methods and defines the general programme of the research. The author researches into the problem of the salary management in Chinese corporation. It makes the analysis and evaluations on the former salary system of the Institute for the Aerospace Research. With the rapid development of our space industry, the salary system under the traditional HR administration system can no longer adapt to the needs of the development. It will have the long-term realistic significance to continuously promote the performance of the employee and the key competition force of the enterprise, strive to construct the national first-class research institute with the innovation, the specific topic study and design an advanced and compliance salary management systemAs the main member for the salary design working team of the Institute for Aerospace Research, the author of the thesis firstly reviewed lots of the essays, books and periodicals etc. on the salary design and set up the solid foundation for the thesis. And then through the analysis study on the basic condition and former salary system of the Institute for Aerospace Research and combining the objective requirements for the subsequent development of the institute for the salary management, it defines the principles for the salary re-design. Through the salary survey, all staff's post analysis and evaluation etc., the basis has been founded for the salary design. Finally, according to the analysis result of the post, all the post degrees and the salary levels are classified, the salary coefficient is confirmed, the salary structure is designed and the salary standards are clarified and all the design work for the broadband salary system of the institute is completed.
