Since the implementation of the opening-up policy, China's hotel industry which isamong the earliest businesses taking part in the international market has surged in many different forms, which has contributed impressively to the national economic growth and the development of tourism. Star hotels in particular have experienced fast growth and an increase in the number of employees, especially in Beijing which holds unparallel advantages for tourism development because of its unique position as the political and cultural center of China. Due to the extending in scale and fierce competition, the flux of employees, especially at the primary level, is climbing up along with the increasing number of hotels, which has posed negative influence upon hotel management. Among various complicated reasons, this paper studies the star hotels in Beijing and tries to find the cultural factors of the employee flux and possible solutions by analyzing reasons for the employee flux of star hotels from an enterprise culture perspective.
