The article focuses on the competitive strategy of NVIDIA Company when facing more and more intense competition inside the industry and the potential threats that some other big companies might step into this area.Besides the preface and conclusion, the thesis contains other 4 main sections: Basic Theories, Environment Analysis, Competitive Strategy and Strategy Implementation.In the first section, the author briefly introduces the popular strategy theories which will be used afterwards; it is also the basic theoretical principles for the whole thesis.In the second section, the author analyses the whole environment of NVIDIA, by using the overall backgrounds with PEST Model, the industry situation with Five Competitiveness Model and the company positioning against the competitors with SWOT Model.In the third section, the author compares the competitors' strategies, and make clear of the company' s target, including the market focus and competitive cooperation strategy.In the last section, the author introduces the detail implementation of the company strategy from both overall strategy implementation and market-specific strategy implementation.The conclusion of the thesis is NVIDIA need to adopt the technical leadership and continuous innovation as the competitive strategy, to make competitive cooperation relationship with other companies in the industry. That helps NVIDIA to continue its development with the new situations in the industry.
