Research On The Evaluation Of High-tech Industrial Competitive Ability In Our Country

The high-tech industry refers to the unit aggregate which applies high technology to produce high-tech product, and R&D the high technology. The high-tech industry most prominent characteristics are "advanced" and "new" -"advanced" manifests high in the product technology content, the value-added is high, the R&D investment is high; and " new" manifests the technology is in the national science and technology front, or some technology has never had before, belongs to the unprecedented achievement. As a result of the difference of various countries' science and technology level, each country has different standards to define the high-tech industry. According to the actual situation, China divides the high-tech industry into five kinds, which include the aerospace craft manufacturing, electronic and the communication facility manufacturing, the electronic computer and office equipment manufacturing, the medicine manufacturing, the medical equipment and instrument manufacturing.As the high-tech industry plays a more and more important part in the national economy, the country also unceasingly enlarge to support the high-tech industry, the investment of science and technology research and development is also increasingly enlarged, which promoted our country's high-tech industry international competitiveness strengthening remarkably. However, because the high-tech industry of our country start later, the state economy and the science and technology level are not too developed, in compares with the world main developed country is also far behind, thus, strengthening researching the high-tech industry international competitive ability means too much to promotes its competitive ability.This paper revolves the high-tech industry international competitive ability to conduct the research, first introduced the domestic and foreign high-tech industry international competitive ability's present research situation as well as main theories of the competitive ability, according to the high-tech industry's characteristics to put forward the technological development gradient theory, and then apply the theory to analyze the way to promote the high-tech industry international competitive ability. After that, this paper analyzes its present situation, and uses Mike Baud's diamond theory analyzing the six factors present situation of the high-tech industry. On the basis of that, this paper used the gray synthesis appraisal method to evaluate competitive ability of high-tech industry from 2000 to 2005, according to the results, the paper analyzes the prominent problems about the high-tech industry, and proposed the corresponding countermeasure.
