China's Commercial Banks To Finance Intellectual Property Protection System

After China joining in the WTO, finance industry will open to the outside world gradually. It is obvious that the competitions between domestic banks and foreign banks will be fierce. One of the advantages of foreign banks is to provide mature financial innovative products. The protection of financial intellectual property rights is the best way to protect financial innovative products. This should cause domestic banks to attach great importance to it. Domestic banks need to strengthen the strategic management of financial intellectual property rights and enhance the core competitiveness. And provide the strategic reserve for their future sustainable development. So it is important to research the protection of financial intellectual property rights.The research on the protection of financial intellectual property rights is a prevailing topic in China. Most of the current researches focus on the perspective of law. This article has analyzed the financial intellectual property protection problem from the law and the finance inter- discipline cross-angle. Firstly, this article summarizes the definition and legal characteristics of the traditional intellectual property rights, and defines the definition of financial intellectual property rights. Secondly, it analyzes the construction of the financial intellectual property protection system with the financial development theory and the evolved economic. The article further discusses the status quo of the protection of financial intellectual property rights and the gap between domestic banks and foreign banks. Finally, the article proposes the strategy in the perspective of macro and micro to strengthen financial intellectual property protection system's construction of domestic banks.
