This thesis is a research on Kaizen based on the theory of Lean Production forimproving production efficiency in XiangYi Company. The method of system analysis thatqualitative analysis combined with quantitative analysis was adopted, and the technologiesindustrial engineering and Lean Manufacturing were used synthetically. Taking CA42production line as example, it was dissertated systematically of CIP (ContinuousImprovement Process) activity, by which CA42 line was analyzed and optimized in layout,material flow, process flow, and line balance etc. Thereafter, many wastes and non-valuedadded works was eliminated, WIP (Work-in-Process) and MCT (Manufacturing CycleTime) were reduced greatly, production model of one piece flow was realized almost, theproduction efficiency of line was improved, and production cost was also reduced, thenproduct competitive was boosted up. Meanwhile, a new thought was put forward creativelymade up of five rules of layout, Kanban optimization and of TIE (Total IndustrialEngineering program) based on fully inspiring enthusiasm of people, on the basis of thesummary on Kaizen process. Then a suitable Kaizen method surrounding CIP activity waspresented. This research has high reference for XiangYi Company and the samemanufacturing enterprises to implement lean production, some domestic enterprises aswell.
