China's television industry development has entered a new stage of acomprehensive change. Both the strategic approach and tactical arrangement in thetelevision and advertising business will, to a large extent, determine the success orfailure of the television industry, which becomes a constant exploring research topicfor each TV station in its business practice. After entering the new century, on thebasis of summing up the experience and lessons in the past, Inner Mongolia TVStation starts exploring and implementing a new strategic approach in its advertingactivitiesThis paper investigates the development of the Inner Mongolia TV Station in recentyears, analyzes the experience gains and losses in its medium operation and theindustrial building of the Inner Mongolia TV Station, and also puts forward some(superficial) views on its future development.The paper is divided into four parts: the first part discusses the strategiesadopted in the operation and management by Inner Mongolia TV Station in the pastfive years; the second part analyzes and summarizes the experience gains and losses:the third part mainly discusses the internal and external environment for recent TVmedia and the present TV industrial situation so as to show the living and competitiveenvironment we are now facing; the fourth part is the focus of this paper, the authorwill raise the overall strategy and a new business idea for the future development ofthe Inner Mongolia TV Station.Engaged in business management in Inner Mongolia TV Station for eight years,the author, from the actual conditions and the theory learnt from the graduate study,aims at making some theoretical research on the television enterprises in our region.
