The thesis introdues the background of BPR, Steps of reengineering and the present courses of study of BPR.Along with the deepening reform of the electric power organizational reform, it is the important to strengthens the business management. We must apply the modern management idea and the method to develop our enterprise. The traditional management method in electric power company more and more displays the malpractice that is unable to avoid, such as only pays attention to the result of the department works. This thesis want to solve these problems, apply modern management idea and the method, establishe the management system base on the business process management, promote the economic efficiency.This thesis analysed the influence on the power supply enterprise of the electric power industy reform, China joins the WTO and the new technology development. The thesis has investigated and analysed business processes of the electric power supply enterprise. There are many problems in electric power enterprise's management. The thesis put forward some preliminary improvement proposal to solve the problems.By studying in with emphasis the power supply enterprise's equipment maintenance process examine and repair process, the thesis reengineering the equipment maintenance process.The Business Process Reengineering should be a long-term, periodic work. According to the change of the environment, the business process must be adjusted and optimized.
