The Study On Logistics Management Of Jxyd Cement Co., Ltd. Based On Supply Chain Management

Though China's cement industry has developed rapidly, it still has many problems to face with. The mode of cement enterprise management is still conventional, and the entire industry knows little about the ideas of supply chain management. Being the most important part of supply chain management, Logistics Management deeply affected the development of China's cement companies and will become the core competition area of cement market. To achieve the goal of realizing modernization of China's cement industry, we must have an accurate understanding of the content of logistics, emphasize highly the importance of logistics management for cement companies, and promote urgently the innovation of management by applying the ideas of supply chain management.This thesis firstly points out the broad prospect of application of the supply chain management in China's cement industry, based on the retrospection and forecasting of the development of China's cement industry. Through investigation and research, it then analyzes the current situation of supply logistics management, production logistics management, distribution logistics management and reverse logistics management of JXYD, pointing out the existing problems in the following three aspects: in the overall management of the logistics, management system is unreasonable, logistics functions is poorly distributed and the overall operation is of low efficiency; in supply logistics management, it faces with the problems like complex procurement processes, long lead time, and large quantities of materials inventory; in distribution logistics management, there also exists the problems like low competitiveness of own transportation companies and poor control of distribution logistics. Moreover, the paper analyzes the constitution of the supply chain of JXYD and the drawbacks of conventional manufacturer-driven supply chain of cement company, proposing the push-pull supply chain for JXYD. Finally, in reference to the theory of supply chain management, logistics management and procurement management, it respectively proposed some improvement strategies based on supply chain management to direct at the three aspects of integrated logistics, procurement management and gradual outsourcing of logistics. They are as follows: Integrated Logistics Management is mainly to set up special department, improve the function of information system; procurement management is a strategic partnership of selective development, developing actively domestic suppliers; gradual outsourcing of logistics means to help own transport companies become third-party logistics companies on the basis of maintaining its self-operation temporarily.
