This paper reviewed the compensation management and performance management theories of HRM; researched how to build an optimization of compensation system of HDG Company. Firstly, the paper introduced the status quo of human resources and compensation system in the HDG Company and its branches. Afterwards, a deep analysis was conducted to find out problems related to performance and compensation distribution through the investigation on the degree of job satisfaction of workers in each branch. Finally, it used modern theories and knowledge to design a systematic compensation institution based on the post's character and classification, as well as apability and performance.This study makes contribution to the performance and compensation management in HDG Company, the conclusion also provides a reasonable foundation of income equity, motivation, and relative competitiveness for the staff in this manufacturing branch.
