How to develop and utilize the human beings potential is the difficult subject for all the enterprises, and the most difficult article in which is how to motivate the employee and make they try their best with their job. Performance and compensation management are the two important parts, There are many methods of performance appraisal and compensation management, suitable for different enterprises and staff. For absorbing talent at performances for effective compensation management mode at characteristics to enterprises is one's owns, Keep talent here, train talent, utilize talent and encourage staff, raise enterprise economic benefits and essential advantage competition.The thesis takes Pingxiang Hongyuan Coal Chemical enterprise as the business background, and make an intensive study of the performance and compensation management status. We find the questions of human resources management in this enterprise are that the motivational method is unitary; they give weight not to moral encouragement, but to the material incentives, inappropriate employing of people, frequently flowing of talented personnel, family structure of the talented person, fragmentation of performance appraisal, small of pay gap, ineffective incentive, and so on.In view of the existing problems in the performance appraisal and compensation management, the paper will use of advanced theories and methods of performance appraisal and compensation management to find a better way fit its actual situation. Moreover applies the results to set up a new performance pay system. After the system has brought into effect, it verified that the implementation of performance appraisal and performance pay system play an important role in the promotion of company's development.
