Measuring And Optimizing About The Reliability Of Supply Chain

As the sharpening of supply chain reliability problems, supply chain reliability has already become one inportant aspect of measuring supply chain operation performance. It owns significance to evaluate and optimize the reliability of the whole supply chain and nodal enterprises. According to the the theory of reliability engineering, the reliability of nodal enterprises is the foundation of the whole system. The measure of reliability of nodal enterprises is a basis about rightly evaluing the whole supply chain.First, the paper introduces the triditional multilayer evaluation model, detailed analyses the advantages and the shortages of this model, in detail discusses the shortages of the model, including ingoring the relationship between indexes, the weight influenced by subjectivity, mixed index property, the canculation method hiding some unsafe factores, not arousing enough value on the aspect with low reliability.The paper then structures the new model facing process based on the old one, keeping the shortages. The new model overcomes the shortage of the triditional one, considers the logical relationship between the index, removes the affection of subjectivity, changes the problem of mixed mixed index property and obviously shows the importance of very link, ownes new advatages that the old one does not have.Then, the paper discusses the methodes of enhancing the supply chain reliability. There are three menthods used ususally, including supply chain reliability allocation, electronizing supply chain and supply chain business process reengineering. Then the paper puts forward the method of supply chain reliability allocation, according to the principles of reliability allocation of the engineering system reliability. In the condition of emergency, there are two strategies. The paper gives two optimization models according to the two. In the last,the paper studies application models of supply chain reliability, and introduces how to use these models by giving an example, shows in reality how to practice the tool of analysing supply chain reliability.
