Ganzhou Construction Of Affordable Housing Study

Housing is a necessity for human life. Middle-income families and low-income families in particular often lack the abilities to pay and solve the basic housing problem rely on the market mechanism and their own strength because of the characteristics of housing and the out of balance in market .So the housing problem has become an viral focus matter which beset all levels of governments and majorities of low and middle income families. We must highlight the research on construction of affordable housing and the best way to solve housing difficulties in low and middle income families as it is directly related to the improvement of people's living level and vital to the national economy and people's livelihood. Over the years, a serious of policies our government has taken to improve the living conditions of urban residents and solve the housing difficulties of middle and low income families in particular have played a certain role in solving the housing problems of middle and low income families.Ganzhou, as the first city in Jiangxi province to build low-cost housing since 2004, has solved the hosing difficulties well by setting up a housing security system according to its reality through years of exploration and practice. The system is based on the material object matches rents and complemented with some other forms such as affording housing, shack-dwells, economic rental housing, new apartments and low-rent shops. However, due to some reasons as the backward of economic development and poor statistical information, there are still exit many problems need to improve, including the decision on the objectives and tasks, funding pressure and the outstanding structural contradictions.This paper is taking the affordable housing construction of Ganzhou (inner city) as the research object. First of all, it mainly researches the economic and social attributes of housing, the security content of housing and the meaning of building affordable housing through the studies in the theories of housing security in the domestic and international and dynamic (static) state empirical analysis in the construction of affordable housing in Ganzhou. Then, it analysis in-depth about the existing difficulties and problems in the construction of affordable housing in Ganzhou city. At last, it gives some policy suggestions to strengthen the construction of affordable housing in Ganzhou, including strengthening the livelihood security awareness, strengthening the financial base, good construction planning, improvement rules and regulations, strengthen supervision and management approach.
