The plasma, called the fourth state of substance has many particular physics property and chemical property. Now the plasma technology has been widely used in the area of energy sources, aerospace, environmental sciences, national defence and surface modification of dielectric material.Measureing plasma parameter exactly is the key links to enlarge the extension of plasma application.Plasma has been widely used in many fields, such as electronics, physics, biology, medicine, materials, national defence and so on. The development of plasma diagnostic techniques is rapid and its application is abroad. Langmuir probe has taken on the most important role in plasma diagnostic as the simple equipment and operation, strong diagnostic ability, acquiring rich information. This paper is focus on the utilization of embedded system that adapt on the Langmuir probe plasma diagnostic. The input signals of the system are voltage and current of Langmuir probe measured by analog circuit. The embedded system is developed based on the 32-bit microprocessor S3C44B0X, that is a micro processor with high performance, low cost and many controllers inside it, to complete the function such as the man-machine interface, data acquisition, communications and so on.This system consists of hardware platform and software platform. The hardware includes core application system circuit of S3C44B0X processor and peripheral circuit. Show the operate interface by liquid crystal display, input the control code from the keyboard, data acquisition module that convert analog signal into digital signal, RS232 interface. The software includes the bootloader possesses, driving program and application program that is based on C language and assemble language. The system is developed by the ADS 1.2 integrate development environment that designed by ARM Inc.
