With the rapid development of industry's informatization, many industry companies need moible value-added service. By SMS (Short Messaging Service), MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), etc, companies can communicate with their customer fast and convenient, and realize companies'mobile working. However, the current access platform provided by mobile telecommunication carriers can not fully support industry's needs. So, carriers need a set of suitable mobile value-added service access platform for industry companies urgently. IAGW (Industry Application Gateway) is bringing out under this background.In this thesis, combining the current system's structures and SMS process, the author introduces a cluster-based system to solve the problems in the original IAGW system, such as single point of bottleneck, single point of failure and horizontal Scalability. And the author discusses how to implement the cluster-based IAGW system with no evidently influence on the network and SMS process.The author expatiate how to design the main modules of IAGW system to support cluster framework, and describes the design and implementation of necessary modules and technology in detail. Such as technecis communication agent, asynchronism communication and services flow control module. In the end, the author shows the test results and typical case to prove that the cluser-based IAGW system solves the above problems.Currently, the cluster-based IAGW system introduced in the thesis has passed carries' test, and is running in Shanxi, Jilin, Liaoning, etc. It has been an important equipment in carries'network to support industries'value-added service.
