Infant incubator is based on scientific method, in order to provide a comfortable environment for the newborn, which has clean air, suitable temperature and humidity, so as to avoid infant infections, enhance its ability to resist the virus, and protect the growth of the infant. The premature infant care is one of the most sensitive and delicate areas in biomedical field. Premature infant exposed to the unprotected environment outside the womb has to be provided with a similar environment until the infant is able to cope with the changes in the environment with out external help. A large number of modern bio-medical datas show that, in order to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by direct or indirect response to cold stress, it can be equipped with a warm environment, so as to effectively safeguard the survival rate of newborns.The system combines the current development of biomedicine well, and it makes good use of the knowledge about the calorific capacity of infants. Traditional controlling equipment hasn't high precision. However, it was improved in the design. The system adopts S3C2410X to be the microunit; its software is designed based on Linux. It uses the converter of A/D, which is built in S3C2410X, cooperating with temperature sensor LM353 and humidity sensor HS1101. The advanced thermostat circuit, which is controlled by relay, is used in the heating circuit of the drive module. And LCD module is used as a display unit. The design completes the collection of signals about temperature and humidity, completes the control of temperature and humidity, making the monitoring system to achieve high precision and digital basically.The control of temperature and humidity in the monitoring system is relatively independent. The algorithm of control on humidity is classic PID. Traditional PID controller has the ideal linear characteristics, which are in the vicinity. The methods of Fuzzy control not only need not to establish mathematical model, which is charged with the object, but also can improve the dynamic performance of control in the region ,which is departure from the working point significantly, and that have strong capabilities of inhibiting noise and good characteristics of the robustness at the same time. Therefore the method of control about temperature uses parallel control of FUZZY-PID. This will improve the precision of control, and eliminate the oscillations of limit cycle, thus they can give full play to the advantages and achieve the best control, the controller has the features of quick response, high precision and uses easily. The design has some improvements against the traditional infant incubators in both hardware and software. For example, the bedwetting monitoring module and disinfection devices have more humane than the traditional infant incubators in the monitoring system. The programmers of control are more scientific and reasonable, and actual results are satisfactory. In addition, the monitoring system has some advantages, such as stable performance, complete function, and inexpensive cost and so on.
