But neither of them really took full advantage of HTTP, which has just been viewed as a "porter"REST (Representational State Transfer) is a network based architectural style coined by Roy Fielding. Compared with today's popular web architectural style, REST's biggest difference is that it could apply its architectural constraints on HTTP, in order to heavily use HTTP's build-in features to meet all kinds of requirements. This article will analyze REST's constraints in depth, research on its compatibility with web services and enterprise development, figure out corresponding practice policies, and build a REST style web application framework.
