With the development of remote sensing technology continuously, the application of remote sensing image has been deep into the military and the various fields of national economy construction, and more and more remote sensing projects need to be constructed, so the problem about repetitive construction in remote image project arises and maintenance cost is huge. At the same time, the remote sensing image data sharing system of different institutions is heterogeneous. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a loosely coupled web services framework of remote sensing image which based on REST, in order to meets the requirements which are high efficiency, loose coupling, and multiple concurrent.The author considers fully about the services design of other remote sensing image projects, on the basis of this, the framework is divided into image products, order management, orbit prediction and collection plan. For each service, the framework incorporates multiple independent functions into general service logic, takes the services into REST style, provides services in a united scalable interface, and shields the dynamics of the business logic, meanwhile achieves the loose coupling communication between different systems.In addition, in the aspect of security, this paper proposes a general service interface control method in order to control and manage strictly the interface in access rights, access time, and access frequency.In terms of performance, this paper proposes remote sensing service extension design which based on REST, the developer can add new services based on detail requirements taking the existed services and new service into integration. In addition, the framework uses cluster service to meet the requirements of remote sensing image web service, making the framework supports high currency, extension, and safe access.
