The paper elaborated the domestic and foreign virtual prototypical technology research present situation and the development tendency, discussed the necessity of applying virtual prototypical technology to the design and analysis of tractor hanging plow unit. On the base of force character research of plow suspension unit at promotion process, by way of virtual assembly, established the virtual prototype of tractor and its hanging device. By way of dynamic animation and kinematics analysis for virtual prototype, validated the correctness of virtual prototype which has established.Tractor hanging plow unit is the main device for plow field transportation, promotion and farm cultivating, its structure rationality has direct effect on the reliability of tractor and it's the suspension. According to structure character and principle of tractor and it's the suspension unit, in the paper, mainly carried on kinematics analysis and optimization design for tractor and it's the suspension unit, using ADAMS software which is manufactured by American MDI Corporation basing on multi body theory, provided the reliable basis for the design and application of hanging device.The paper mainly completed hereinafter work: has carried out promotion process simulation of tractor hanging plow unit using ADAMS software, has analyzed force of various parts Hinge-joint in promotion process, obtained the key parameter of hanging device, by way of optimization simulation, obtained the best work parameter of hanging device; According to road spectrum density, the method of Monte Carlo, triangular progression was used for the simulation of field road, has set up the corresponding road surface model and the combination model with tractor, hanging device and plow in ADAMS software, carried on dynamic simulation of hanging device of the plow in the transport state, Draw the force curve of the hanging point, get the force relation between the upper hanging point and the lower hanging point, get the best parameter of hanging device by optimization simulation.
