Because of railway rolling stock improvement of speed, it makes vibration while operating in the railway with increasing. The violent vibration of vehicle can damage the vehicle structure, effort between a rail and vehicle vibration will also influence the traffic safety after reaching a certain degree. Controling vehicle vibration can raise rolling stock speed and improve its stationarity. In order to improve ride comfort and stationarity, on the one hand, we can improve the quality of railway; on the other hand , we can also improve the capability of suspension system. It needs substantive money and rebuilding railway is complex. It is difficult to rebuild some railways in our country. The ride comfort and stationarity are improved only by suspension system's efficiency. Improving capability of trains by using the high efficiency suspensions is economical and effective, which is very beneficial to the trains project .As we know, it is impossible to adjust the parameters of the passive suspension when the train is running and is hard to meet the requirements of the passive suspension in the riding comfort of these high speed trains. The semi-active suspensions, acting as the most advanced suspensions, could adjust the rigidity or damp actively and timely to reduce the vibration according to the working condition.In this paper, through the analysis of the passive suspension,active suspension and semi-active suspension, the paper summarizes that the semi-active suspension is better for the suspension svstern of high speed trains. Because the semi-active suspension svstern is low in energy consumption, simple in control and good in ineffective guiding safety. The strategy of semi-active control and the principle of skyhook control with Chinese high-speed train vehicle are described. A new analytic method, which is based on the dynamic suspension characteristic of semi-active suspension control system, is applied to design referenced model and model of the semi-active suspension. The fuzzy controller is designed and politic control model of semi-active suspension is built by fuzzy controller theory. The semi-active suspension fuzzy controller model is designed based on the ideal skyhook semi-active suspension controller. The semi-active suspension and the computer simulations are built with Matlab. Design membership functions and control rule of fuzzy controller by satisfactory optimization theory to promote the control performance.According to the simulation results, the semi-active suspention fuzzy control could reduce the bodywork acceleration, allay wheel load and steady the wave of suspension distortion. The fuzzy controller which desighed by satisfactory optimization theory could reduce the bodywork acceleration in a larger degree and the wave of suspension distortion when ensures the suspension distortion is in acceptable area. It improves the capability of suspension system and demonstrates that the control result is better.
