Based on the need of research and development of steel-bar dividing system, this thesis researches steel-bar complete-dividing strategies in simulation system. The content of the paper is as follow.Proposing the project of steel-bar complete-dividing. After describing an online vision steel-bar counting and steel-bar end-dividing system, this thesis proposes a multi-spliter and multi-vidicon online vision steel-bar complete-dividing project. Necessity of establishing steel-bar complete dividing simulation system is explained, and the software structure of the simulation system is designed.Mading the model of simulation objects. According to its geometry shape, a steel-bar can be nearly regarded as a curve of the same radius and length. After analysing the advantages and disadvantages of several curves, this paper chooses tension spline curve as the model of steel-bar. Discrete curvature of control points is combined to judge the convex or concave of curves and recognise fake control points whose control capability will be confined to adapt the flexibility.Machine-learning. This thesis extracts automatic steel-bar dividing strategies with machine-learning method, and analyses the benefits of machine-learning research according to simulation system. Combining with the research on sample collection and rules extraction in machine learning, the simulation system's superiority for the status attributes selection and regulation library completion is represented. On the basis of the work mentioned above, this paper introduces the interface design and the realization of machine learning module in steer-bar dividing simulation system, also tests and analyses the extracted steer-bar dividing strategies.At last, this thesis makes a summary of the total researches, and lists the future works in this research.
